“I don’t know who loves Stay more—me or my dog! The staff at Stay treats Trilby and I like family, and I couldn’t be more appreciate of their great work. Whether I’m bringing Trilby in for daycare or boarding, she is always excited to see her friends both human and furry. My Trilby can be quite a handful as a big (and bossy) lady, but she is put into a play group to meet her needs and the needs of other guests. They understand Trilby as an individual, and because of this she is able to play to her hearts content. She comes home one very pooped pup, and it’s wonderful to see her so happy! We are also thankful to Stay for forming Found, their sister organization that rescues and re-homes Chicago’s homeless pets. I adopted Trilby through Found in 2010, and now can’t imagine my life without her. Stay takes great care of the dog in my life, and the dogs in our community.”

“We needed a place we could take our dog Peanut and know he would be safe, comfortable and not be left alone in a crate all day. Stay has become a home away from home for Peanut. He literally pulls me up to the door once we arrive at Stay so he can get in and start playing. The staff is beyond amazing and we could not be more thrilled with the amount of love and care they give our dog when he visits. The facility is always clean and the webcams assure us that our pup is having fun! We could not speak more highly of Stay Dog Hotel for daycare and for boarding!”

I was most pleased with the excellent care and nurturing my dogs received at Stay-a modern dog hotel: impressed with the professionalism, sensitivity, and knowledge exhibited by the staff.
Tatiana Chalita, manager of Stay-a modern dog hotel, exemplifies why I regard this facility so highly. When I brought my dogs through the entrance, she looked at them, smiling, and this, along with her body language and comments to them and to me, let me know the love and passion she has for animals.
My dogs validated my perspectives by their accepting behavior when Ms. Chalita greeted them. Docile as they are, they don’t usually initiate interactions with humans. When I came to pick them up, I was stunned to discover that Ms. Chalita had a great deal of knowledge about each of them. Indeed, through our conversation, I cam to know traits that were previously unknown to me.
I was also impressed with Ms. Chalita’s commitment to keeping our environment clean when she was posting a sign reminding owners to clean their pets’ droppings as they walked them outside the facility. Doing so also prompts owners to further reflect on their responsibilities as animal caretakers, and also encourages the public at large to feel more positively about pets.
Since Ms. Chalita is the manager of this hotel, I assume that she is responsible for keeping staff inspired, motivated, and informed of their responsibilities-and also overseeing that hotel activities and functioning remain at an optimum level. The hotel was always clean and appealing, and staff was uniformly courteous, always taking time to answer questions that I posed to them.
Lastly, the best recommendation this hotel and Tatiana Chalita could receive is evidenced by my dogs’ reactions when I came to get them. Although they were happy to see me, they were in no hurry to leave. I am so grateful to know that they have a ‘second’ home to live, a second ‘family’ to be with when I can’t be with them.
