+ FAQs
How often will I receive updates or report cards on my dog?
We aim to send out at least one report card during your dog’s stay with us. However, please note this is not guaranteed, as our team’s top priority is always the care and well-being of all our canine guests.
For real-time updates, you’re welcome to check in via our webcams when your dog is in group play, or call us directly. If any health concerns arise during your dog’s stay, a member of our team will contact you right away.
What are your kennel options and their sizes?
We offer three types of accommodations to suit different needs and preferences:
-
Standard Kennels (4’ x 6’ – 5’ x 8’)
Open-air enclosures with a grated kennel door and a raised surface. -
Deluxe Kennels (6’ x 8’)
Larger enclosures with a plexiglass door and raised beds for dogs up to 100 lbs. -
Suites (160 sq. ft.)
Spacious, furnished quarters featuring a cushioned bed, quiet space, and 24/7 webcam access.
How many dogs are housed in a kennel at a time?
We accommodate up to two dogs from the same family in our Standard and Deluxe kennels.
Our Suites can comfortably house:
-
Up to 3 large dogs (from the same household)
-
Up to 4 small dogs (from the same household)
Please note: We do not place unrelated dogs in the same kennel.
Can I bring my dog’s toys, blankets, or bed?
Stay provides all necessary comforts, including beds, blankets, and food/water bowls. We kindly ask that personal items from home be left behind unless absolutely necessary, as we cannot guarantee their return in original condition.
Do you separate dogs during feeding?
Yes. All dogs are fed individually to ensure a calm environment and to accommodate any special feeding needs or prevent food aggression.
Does my dog get a rest period after meals?
Absolutely! Each dog receives a minimum of one hour of rest after eating to promote healthy digestion.
Do you offer a discount for multiple dogs?
Yes! Each additional dog from the same household receives a 10% discount.
How can I access the webcams?

Webcams are available 24/7 for suite guests.
-
For daycare guests, webcams are available during scheduled group play times.

No, but unaltered dogs will be placed on a customized care schedule. Additional fees may apply – see our Solo Dog Pricing and Policies.
What is Canine Cough?
Canine Cough (Kennel Cough) is an airborne respiratory virus similar to the human cold. It is highly contagious and can be spread even by asymptomatic dogs. Symptoms may include coughing, nasal discharge, lethargy, and fever.
What is Canine Influenza?
Canine Influenza (Dog Flu) is a respiratory infection caused by a specific Type A virus. Symptoms mirror those of Kennel Cough and may also be spread by dogs showing no visible symptoms.
If my dog is vaccinated for these, are they still at risk?
Vaccinations greatly reduce the risk and severity of both illnesses, but do not guarantee full immunity—much like a flu shot for humans. Vaccinated dogs tend to recover faster and experience milder symptoms.
What does Stay do to prevent illness?
We maintain strict daily cleaning and disinfecting protocols throughout the facility. All boarding and daycare guests are required to be up-to-date on their Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccination, and we strongly recommend the Canine Influenza vaccine.
If a dog begins showing symptoms of illness, they are immediately quarantined to prevent exposure to others.
To further support a healthy environment, we have medical-grade air purifiers installed in all of our boarding areas and daycare spaces to help reduce the spread of airborne viruses.
While we take every possible precaution, please understand that airborne illnesses such as Canine Cough and Canine Influenza are not 100% preventable, even in the cleanest and most carefully managed environments.
Is staff present overnight?
While staff is not onsite overnight, all dogs are safely secured in their kennels or suites, and the facility is monitored with 24/7 security systems and video surveillance.
